What is powder coating?
Powder Coating is a dry method for applying a decorative and durable coating to metal parts. The powder coating process uses very fine dry resin powder with the pigment color of your choice. The resin powder is applied with an electrostatic powder coating spray gun. The resin powders are positively charged as they move through the powder coating gun causing them to stick to the grounded metal part.
The powder coated metal part is then placed in an oven for curing. During this time the powders are melted and fused together to form a very durable coating. The parts are then allowed to cool and are ready for use immediately.
